Zero Caliber 2 Remastered Lands On PlayStation VR2 In November
Zero Caliber 2 Remastered arrives on PS VR2 on November 5 with native 90fps, headset haptics, adaptive triggers and bHaptics support.
Zero Caliber 2 Remastered is coming to PlayStation VR2 on November 5, with XReal Games promising a version built around Sony’s headset rather than a straight lift of the older Quest release.1
The VR shooter’s PS VR2 edition is the Remastered build that first launched on Steam in October 2025. That means players are getting the updated version, not the original Quest release, when the port arrives on Sony’s headset.1
What is changing on PS VR2
XReal Games says the port will run at a native 90 frames per second, rather than rendering at 60fps and reprojecting to 120fps. The studio is also adding headset haptics, adaptive controller triggers and native support for bHaptics products.1
The announcement leaves one important multiplayer question open: whether the co-op campaign will support cross-platform play. UploadVR reports that the Steam version’s PvP multiplayer supports crossplay with Quest, while co-op remains restricted to players on the same platform at the time of reporting.1
What we know
The original Zero Caliber launched on PS VR2 in December 2025, and the sequel can already be wishlisted through PlayStation’s storefront ahead of its November release.1 The November 5 date gives PS VR2 owners a firm target, while the native frame-rate promise should matter more in a headset than a routine resolution bump: stable motion is central to comfort and readability during firefights.
Our opinion
This looks like a sensible PS VR2 conversion rather than a bare platform port. Native 90fps, adaptive triggers and headset-specific haptics are the sort of changes players can actually feel, but co-op crossplay will decide how useful the release is for existing squads. Until XReal Games confirms that detail, the strongest case for the PS VR2 version is its technical focus — not simply the fact that it is arriving on another headset.
