The Wolf Among Us Remastered leads October’s ID@Xbox showcase

The remastered noir adventure will appear alongside 17 other games in IGN and Xbox’s 20 October livestream.

Bigby Wolf confronts a suspect in The Wolf Among Us Remastered

The Wolf Among Us Remastered will headline the next ID@Xbox showcase, with IGN and Xbox promising trailers, gameplay and world premieres from 18 games on 20 October.1

What is in the showcase?

IGN confirms that Telltale’s remastered noir adventure will appear alongside games from Critical Reflex and other upcoming Xbox and PC releases. The stream starts at 6pm BST on Tuesday, 20 October, with broadcasts planned across IGN, YouTube, Twitch, Facebook, X and partner sites.1

The showcase is a viewing event rather than a release announcement. The Wolf Among Us Remastered is still listed on Steam for 29 October, and its store page highlights updated visuals, a new Noir Mode and the complete five-episode story.2

Why it matters

The remaster already has a clear hook: it brings Bigby Wolf’s investigation back with a black-and-white presentation designed around the game’s detective-film atmosphere. A showcase appearance should give fans their first substantial look at how that mode works in motion, while the wider event may provide context for Xbox’s autumn indie line-up.

Our opinion

This is a useful heads-up rather than a story pretending the game has launched early. The showcase’s real value is the chance to see the remaster before its 29 October release; until then, the Noir Mode pitch remains promising, but untested.
