Titan Quest II leaves Early Access on 19 January 2027

Grimlore Games and THQ Nordic have put a date on version 1.0 of the Greek-myth action RPG, and it arrives on PC and consoles in January 2027.

Titan Quest II finally has a finish line. Grimlore Games and publisher THQ Nordic have confirmed that the Greek-myth action RPG will leave Early Access and launch in full on 19 January 2027 for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.

The game has been playable in Early Access since August 2025. In its announcement the studio describes version 1.0 as the point where every strand of that Early Access run is pulled together into the complete tapestry the developers had planned, plus a bit more.

What the full release adds

Grimlore has spent Early Access expanding Titan Quest II with new regions, fresh powers and more loot, all built around a mastery system that lets players assemble their own hero from a mix of skill trees. THQ Nordic says the game will keep growing after launch, and the studio is already teasing pre-order bonuses, a mythical creature and a hidden treasure.

What it will cost

The publisher's recommended price is $49.99 / €49.99 on PC and $59.99 / €59.99 on consoles. On Steam, UK players currently see the Early Access build at £29.50 with a 30 per cent discount taking it to £20.65.

Our opinion

Titan Quest II's Early Access run has been quietly solid rather than spectacular, and a firm date is exactly what the game needed. The genre is crowded — Diablo IV, Path of Exile 2 and Last Epoch all fight for the same evenings — so Grimlore's promise to keep building after 1.0 matters more than the launch itself. If the full release arrives with the polish the update cadence suggests, Titan Quest II could end up the most welcoming of the bunch rather than the loudest.
