Seven Nights Ghost 2 demo launches on Steam ahead of December release
Seven Nights Ghost 2's free Steam demo is available ahead of the horror adventure's planned December 2026 release, with a streaming mode for viewer advice.
Seven Nights Ghost 2 has launched a free demo on Steam ahead of its planned December 2026 release. TozukuGames announced the demo on October 14, describing the game as a horror adventure about spending seven days with a persistent ghost girl while trying to maintain an appropriate distance.1
A ghostly housemate with a deadline
The game follows a teacher whose new housemate is a high-school ghost with a serious crush. The player must avoid her advances and complete the story while keeping the relationship within suitable boundaries, according to the publisher announcement reproduced by 4Gamer.1
The demo covers part of the game, while the full release is planned for December 2026. TozukuGames also says the demo will be removed when the commercial version launches. The game is being developed for PC via Steam and Nintendo Switch.1
Built for streaming as well as scares
Seven Nights Ghost 2 includes a live-stream mode designed to let streamers and viewers work together. The mode detects when progress has stalled and prompts viewers to offer advice, giving audiences a way to help without simply blurting out solutions, the announcement says.1
The Steam demo follows the publication of the game's store page earlier this year, which introduced its first-person exploration and mission-based structure.2
Our opinion
A free demo is a useful way for Seven Nights Ghost 2 to show that its deliberately odd premise can support more than a single joke. The streaming mode is the more interesting detail: it gives the ghost-house scenario a social hook while keeping the December release on readers' radars. The demo's temporary availability also makes the launch window worth noting for curious players.1
