Razer unveils limited Raiju V3 Pro Signature Edition controller
Razer's limited Raiju V3 Pro Signature Edition pairs a magnesium-alloy shell and TMR sticks with a 260g open-air PlayStation 5 design.
Razer has unveiled the Raiju V3 Pro Signature Edition, a limited PlayStation 5 controller with a magnesium-alloy body, an open-air design and a specification aimed at competitive players. The product is also compatible with Windows 11 PCs. 1
The controller weighs 260g, according to Razer's official product page. Its body combines a magnesium-alloy exoskeleton with micro-textured TPU grips, while the open polygon structure is intended to reduce weight without abandoning the rigid feel Razer is targeting for this premium model. 1
Razer has fitted the Signature Edition with TMR thumbsticks, a laser-etched glass touchpad and detachable mouse-click back buttons. The company also claims polling rates of up to 2,000Hz, although that headline figure should be understood as a specification rather than a promise that every game or console connection will make visible use of it.
The controller supports customisation through the Razer PS Controller App on mobile and Razer Synapse 4 on PC. Those tools allow owners to create up to four custom profiles, adjust thumbstick dead zones and set trigger actuation ranges. Replacement thumbsticks are included, with different shapes intended to suit faster movement or more precise aiming.
This is a limited-edition product rather than a normal Raiju V3 Pro colourway. Razer says it will be sold through Razer.com and selected RazerStore locations, but the official page does not state a price in the extracted announcement material. It also does not provide a universal release date, so prospective buyers should treat regional store listings as the authority for availability.
Our opinion
The Signature Edition's identity is clear: it is a design-led premium controller that uses unusual materials and a striking open frame to justify its limited status. The 260g weight and replaceable sticks are practical details, while the magnesium shell and glass touchpad are the features likely to decide whether the asking price feels worthwhile. Until Razer publishes pricing and regional stock information, the sensible conclusion is that this is an intriguing announcement, not yet a buying recommendation.
