Project Motor Racing is getting its biggest downloadable content pack yet on 10 November, with the World Endurance Pack adding 11 cars across four endurance classes and two versions of Fuji Speedway. 1

What is in the World Endurance Pack

The official reveal lists three hybrid-era LMP1 cars: the 2016 Audi R18, Porsche 919 Hybrid and Toyota TS050 Hybrid. It also adds the 2013 Olivera P2-13 and 2026 Olivera P2-26 EVO to the LMP2 classes. 1

The pack's six GTP cars cover a different slice of racing history: the 1986 BMW March GTP, Chevrolet Corvette C4 GTP and Ford Probe GTP, alongside the 1988 Jaguar XJR-9 GTP, Nissan GTP SX-Turbo and Porsche 962 GTP. 12

Fuji Speedway across two eras

Fuji Speedway arrives in both its current form and its historic 1966 layout, including the original banked first turn. Six layouts are available in total, with two reverse-race options using the historic configuration. 1

The official announcement describes the pack as the largest DLC release for Project Motor Racing so far. It is due on 10 November, and the developer has also published a reveal trailer for the add-on. 1

Our opinion

This is the sort of expansion a racing sim can build a proper season around: modern hybrid prototypes, evocative GTP machinery and a circuit with two distinct identities. The strongest hook is not simply the car count, but the way the pack connects several eras of endurance racing through Fuji Speedway. We will want to see pricing and the full release-platform details before calling it essential, but the official line-up gives Project Motor Racing a much more interesting historical spread.
