Mega Man: Dual Override unveils Jet Man, its second Robot Master
Capcom has revealed Jet Man, the second Robot Master for Mega Man: Dual Override: a flying team leader who hands Mega Man the chain-reaction Jet Stinger weapon.

At a glance
Capcom has revealed Jet Man as the second Robot Master in Mega Man: Dual Override. He is a flying boss who leads an elite acrobatic flight team, can shift into a flight mode mid-fight and has commandeered a large cargo plane. Beating him gives Mega Man the Jet Stinger, a dash attack that hurls enemies into one another for chained damage. The game is due in spring 2027.
A Robot Master who owns the sky
Capcom published the reveal on 21 September. Jet Man is quick on the ground and quicker in the air, where a transformation into flight mode sharpens his aerial combat and lets him dictate the altitude of a fight. His backstory is a workplace disaster: he leads an elite acrobatic flight team, flies better than anyone in it, and his appetite for showing off has tipped him into going haywire. By the time Mega Man reaches him he has seized a large cargo plane, with his loyal flight team still flying alongside him.
Jet Stinger turns robots into ammunition
Defeating Jet Man hands over the Jet Stinger, a special weapon that fires Mega Man forward at high speed and launches whatever it connects with. The chain is the point: a robot sent flying keeps its momentum and can crash into another one for additional damage, so the weapon earns its keep when the screen is crowded. That rewards players who line up their shots rather than mash, and it suits a boss Capcom has built around movement and height instead of a static slugging match.
Where Dual Override stands
Jet Man is the second Robot Master Capcom has shown for Mega Man: Dual Override, following the character Twinkle Girl and Proto Man, who returns as a second playable protagonist with close-range attacks and an overheat penalty. The studio has also detailed the Custom Chips system for reshaping each hero's abilities and the Override system, which trades a short burst of power beyond normal limits for a vulnerable cool-down afterwards. The game is on Steam and Capcom has said it arrives in spring 2027.
Our opinion
A Robot Master reveal is really a promise about a stage, and Jet Man's makes a specific one: speed, altitude and a weapon you aim at a queue rather than a target. That is a deliberately different feel from the careful, chip-driven ground game Proto Man suggests, and it is the more interesting half of Capcom's pitch. The risk is familiarity, because a flying boss with an air dash and a chip on his shoulder is close to a franchise default. What will decide this one is not the artwork or the trailer but whether Jet Man's stage teaches the chain attack before it punishes you for missing it.
