E.Leclerc lists Grand Theft Auto VI pre-orders at €60

E.Leclerc is listing the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S versions of Grand Theft Auto VI at €60 ahead of its 19 November launch.

Grand Theft Auto VI is still weeks away from launch, but one French retailer is already undercutting the game's usual pre-order price. E.Leclerc is listing the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S versions at €60, rather than the €79.99 price cited for the standard editions.13

What the E.Leclerc deal includes

The offer covers boxed "Code in a Box" editions, meaning buyers receive packaging containing a download code rather than a conventional game disc. E.Leclerc's listings also offer delivery and free in-store collection, although availability and delivery terms can change before launch.13

The deal is currently tied to the French retailer, so it is not evidence of a permanent price cut or a wider European reduction. Anyone considering the offer should check the product page, platform version and delivery conditions before paying. The PS5 and Xbox Series X|S links are separate listings, and the retailer's stock or price may move without warning.13

Grand Theft Auto VI's launch date

Rockstar's official site lists Grand Theft Auto VI for 19 November 2026 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.2 The official page also identifies Jason and Lucia as the game's central characters and places the story in the fictional state of Leonida, giving the retailer's pre-order listing a little more context than a bare catalogue entry.2

The same E.Leclerc page lists Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album on CD and vinyl, priced at €15.99 and €32.99 respectively, with both formats also expected on 19 November.1 Those are separate music products, not part of the €60 game pre-order.

Our opinion

A €60 pre-order is worth noticing because it is a meaningful discount against the price currently shown for the same versions, but it is not automatically a bargain for everyone. "Code in a Box" buyers should be comfortable with a digital download, and the retailer-specific offer may disappear long before launch. Treat it as a price watch rather than a promise that Grand Theft Auto VI will cost €60 everywhere on day one.
