Fortnite’s Inoxtag Icon Series adds free Twitch rewards
Fortnite’s Inoxtag Icon Series collaboration brings four outfit styles, climbing-themed cosmetics and free Twitch rewards with a 28 October deadline.
Fortnite is adding French creator Inoxtag to its Icon Series on 26 October, with four outfit styles, climbing-themed accessories and free Twitch rewards available during the launch campaign. Epic’s official Fortnite announcement on X confirms the collaboration, while the associated drops give players a way to claim selected cosmetics without buying the complete outfit. 1
The Inoxtag outfit comes in black-and-purple and white-and-purple versions. Each colourway has a face-exposed style and a masked variant with a hood and glowing visor. The design uses climbing equipment as part of the character’s look, including harness details and carabiners, tying the collaboration to Inoxtag’s adventure-focused identity. 2
What is included
The collaboration also includes a back bling featuring Ace, a character associated with Inoxtag, plus Kaizen-themed pickaxes, a matching wrap, an emote, sprays and a panoramic loading screen. The loading-screen artwork places Inoxtag and Ace on a mountain overlook, with the Battle Bus visible above the landscape. 2
The complete outfit is separate from the free rewards. Players watching eligible Twitch streams during the Inoxtag Icon Series campaign can earn the Team Croutons Spray after 30 minutes and Inoxtag’s Vista after one hour. The campaign runs from 24 October at 23:30 until 28 October at 04:59 Central European Time, according to the published campaign details. 2
To claim the rewards, players need to watch an eligible live channel, reach the relevant viewing threshold and claim the reward after it becomes available. Inoxtag’s own Twitch channel is listed among the eligible options, while the official Fortnite channel is also involved in a separate campaign for the Midnight Batwings pickaxe. That second promotion is tied to Mobile Championship Day 2 rather than the Inoxtag collaboration, so watching one campaign does not automatically progress the other. 2
The official video
Inoxtag’s accompanying video, Inoxtag X Fortnite, 9 Years Later... Icon Series, shows the collaboration’s purple-and-black outfit and provides the clearest look at the character design. The video is published by the Inoxtag 3.0 YouTube channel and is embedded below. 3
The timing gives players a short window to collect the free items. The campaign continues after the outfit arrives in the game, but the rewards still require the relevant Twitch viewing time before the 28 October deadline. The complete skin and its additional cosmetics are not replaced by the drops; they remain part of the wider Icon Series collaboration.
Our opinion
This is a more useful Fortnite collaboration than a simple shop announcement because the free rewards come with a clear deadline and separate viewing requirements. The important detail is that there are two campaigns running alongside one another: the Inoxtag rewards and the unrelated Midnight Batwings drop. Mixing them up could leave players watching the wrong stream and missing the item they wanted.
The outfit itself also has a coherent visual hook. The climbing gear, purple lighting and Ace references give it more identity than a creator logo pasted onto an existing model. Whether the cosmetics justify buying the full set is subjective, but the free drops make the collaboration worth checking even for players who plan to skip the shop bundle.
