Fortnite’s Chapter 7 Season 4 is heading into its final stretch, and Epic is giving players one last burst of activity before the Treasure Hunters mini-season begins. The Final Spritemare starts on Tuesday, October 27, bringing daily Power Hours, boosted Sprite rewards and a short list of quests that can unlock extra collectibles before the current season ends. 1

The event is tied to Fortnite’s Override season, which has built its identity around hacking the Island, collecting Sprites and mixing Epic’s battle royale with a colourful line-up of guest characters. Epic’s season overview describes Override as a season focused on new locations, weapons, cheat codes and Sprite collecting. 2

What happens during Final Spritemare

The event is scheduled to run through the final week before the Treasure Hunters mini-season launches on November 1. Each day includes a Power Hour beginning at 9am ET, alongside a set of boosts intended to make Sprite collecting more generous. Players can expect double Sprite XP, double Sprite Dust, extra Portable Extractors and increased Pumpkin Chest spawn rates during the event window. Login rewards will also include Lucky Locators.

The accompanying quests give players another route to the event’s rewards. The listed objectives include searching three Pumpkin Chests, entering 15 Trick or Treat Cheat Codes, eliminating 30 players and extracting 20 or 30 Sprites. Completing them unlocks rewards including the Crown Sprite, Gold Spooky Dash Sprite, Spooky Dash Sprite, Klombo Sprite and Trick or Treat Klombo Sprite.

That makes this less of a conventional content drop and more of a final collection push. Players who have ignored the Sprite systems during Override will have a concentrated window to catch up, while regular players can use the boosted rates to finish seasonal objectives before the next mini-season takes over.

Why the timing matters

Fortnite’s seasonal structure increasingly relies on short events that bridge one major update and the next. Final Spritemare is doing exactly that: it gives Chapter 7 Season 4 a closing activity while pointing players towards the next phase of the game. The event also keeps the Halloween flavour running through the end of October, with Pumpkin Chests and Trick or Treat objectives sitting alongside the broader Sprite systems.

The schedule means players do not need to complete everything in one sitting, but the rewards are time-sensitive. Anyone chasing the event’s Sprites should log in across the week, check the active Power Hour and prioritise the quests before the November 1 transition.

Our opinion

Final Spritemare sounds like a sensible end-of-season nudge rather than an attempt to disguise a small update as a huge expansion. The useful part is the clear purpose: double progression, more extraction opportunities and a handful of rewards that give players a reason to return during the final days of Override. It will not radically change Fortnite, but it should make the season’s closing week feel more active than a simple countdown to the next mini-season.
