Disney Dreamlight Valley offers an Oogie Boogie tree code

Disney Dreamlight Valley’s Halloween event has another reward for players to claim: an Oogie Boogie tree tied to the code OOGIETREE2026, according to Infinity Area’s report and its link to the game’s official X account. ² The game’s official event guide confirms that Oogie Boogie’s six-week Season of Scares is active, with new challenges and rewards arriving throughout October. ¹

How to claim the Oogie Boogie tree

Open Disney Dreamlight Valley, enter the Settings menu and choose Help. The code field should be available there. Enter OOGIETREE2026, confirm it, then check the in-game mailbox for the reward, following the steps reported by Infinity Area. ² Codes can be sensitive to spelling, so copy the code exactly as shown rather than retyping it with spaces or punctuation.

The reward is a decorative tree inspired by Oogie Boogie and The Nightmare Before Christmas. Infinity Area describes it as having twisted branches, glowing green dice and purple decorations, making it a suitably spooky addition to a Halloween-themed Valley. ² The report does not give the code a confirmed expiry date, so players interested in the item should try it while the seasonal event is running.

Oogie Boogie’s event is still running

Gameloft’s official event guide says the Season of Scares began on September 23 and runs through a six-week sequence of weekly challenges. The final challenge is scheduled for October 28, while players must begin the first Oogie Boogie quest before November 4 to unlock the full questline. ¹ That event also offers Zero as a companion and Oogie Boogie as a permanent villager after the relevant challenges are completed.

The timing matters because this is more than a one-off cosmetic code. The official schedule gives players several weeks of reasons to return, while the reported tree provides an immediate reward for players who want to decorate their Valley for Halloween. There is no indication in the available sources that redeeming the code replaces or affects progress through the main Oogie Boogie quests.

Our opinion

This is the sort of small, useful game update that earns its place in a live-service event: the reward is easy to try, clearly themed and connected to what players are already doing in the Valley. The only caveat is the absence of a confirmed expiry date. Treat the code as time-sensitive, redeem it now and keep the official channels in view for any correction or deadline.

Sources ¹ and ² cover different parts of the story: Gameloft confirms the event schedule and rewards, while Infinity Area reports the code and redemption steps. That distinction matters because the official event page does not itself list the tree code.
