Cyberpunk TCG reveals Edgerunners Burn Bright set

The Cyberpunk Trading Card Game is getting an Edgerunners expansion next spring, giving WeirdCo’s Kickstarter-funded card game a major crossover with the Netflix anime. The set, called Burn Bright, will feature characters from Cyberpunk: Edgerunners and arrives after the game’s first set, Welcome to Night City, launches in stores on November 6. ¹

The announcement comes with an exclusive look at Gloria Martinez: The Future’s Price, a card featuring David and Lucy alongside David’s mother. WeirdCo says the set will include foil and textured treatments, a new chase rarity and new gameplay mechanics, although the developer has not yet explained how those mechanics will change deck-building or play. ¹

The cards will launch in English and French, with a Chinese-language set planned for a later date. Pre-release tournaments are scheduled for the week before the official retail launch. The wider Cyberpunk TCG is built around assembling an edgerunner crew from across the franchise, with custom card art and a competitive format aimed at card-game players and Cyberpunk fans. ¹²

Its first set, Welcome to Night City, is due in shops on November 6, while Burn Bright follows next spring. The release gives prospective players a chance to learn the game before the Edgerunners expansion arrives, while the newly revealed card offers an early look at the crossover’s tone and visual direction. ¹²

Our opinion

The timing is unusually tidy. With Cyberpunk: Edgerunners back in the conversation and Cyberpunk 2077 receiving related attention, Burn Bright has a recognisable cast to sell the set before anyone has seen the full card list. The important test will be whether the new mechanics give players a reason to build fresh decks, rather than making the expansion feel like a collector’s album with rules attached. For now, the combination of character-led art, premium treatments and pre-release play gives the set a credible hook.
