Atlus has launched its Halloween sale across PlayStation Store and Nintendo eShop, cutting several Persona games and other Atlus titles by up to 80%. The exact end date depends on the platform: the PlayStation promotion runs until 4 November, while Nintendo’s sale ends on 3 November. 12

The biggest discount belongs to Persona 5 Strikers, which is 80% off on both platforms. Persona 5 Royal is 70% off on PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch, while Persona 3 Reload, Persona 4 Golden and other entries in the series are also reduced. 12

The biggest deals

On PlayStation Store, the digital version of Persona 5 Royal falls from ¥7,678 to ¥2,303. Persona 5 Strikers drops from ¥9,680 to ¥1,936, and Persona 5 Tactica is joined by other Atlus releases in the wider promotion. Persona 3 Reload’s digital premium edition is 60% off, while Persona 4 Golden is half price. 1

Nintendo’s discounts are slightly different. Persona 5 Royal is again 70% off, falling to ¥2,303 from ¥7,678, while Persona 5 Strikers is 80% off at ¥1,936. Unicorn Overlord is 50% off, and the Switch version of the Persona 3 Reload digital premium edition is reduced by 40%. 12

The sale also covers games outside Persona. Metaphor: ReFantazio’s Atlus Brand 35th Digital Anniversary Edition is 60% off on PlayStation, Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance is half price, and Catherine: Full Body is 70% off. Atlus lists 32 products on its sale page, with prices and availability varying by platform and region. 2

Our opinion

This is a particularly strong sale for anyone who has somehow missed Persona 5 Royal or Persona 5 Strikers, with the latter’s 80% cut standing out as the clear headline deal. The platform split is the only real nuisance: shoppers should check the live store price and end date before buying, especially because Nintendo and PlayStation are not running identical promotions.

Atlus’ own catalogue page is the safest place to browse the full list, but the best value is obvious enough. If you want one stylish, enormous RPG, Persona 5 Royal is the straightforward pick; if you already own it, Persona 5 Strikers offers a very different action-focused follow-up at the deepest discount.
