Persona 30th anniversary merchandise lands at Round1 across the US

Round1 has launched its Persona 30th Anniversary collaboration across its US arcades, putting limited-edition cards, coasters, keychains, playmats and prizes behind its arcade, bowling and food counters until the end of March 2027.

Round1 has launched its Persona 30th Anniversary collaboration across its US arcades, putting limited-edition cards, coasters, keychains, playmats and prizes behind its arcade, bowling and food counters. The celebration runs in two waves and is scheduled to stay in place until 31 March 2027.

What Round1 is giving away

The line-up leans on collectable tabletop and drink extras rather than one headline item. Arcade players can earn a Persona 30th keychain with a game-credit purchase, pick up an exclusive playmat offer at the game counter, and chase new crane prizes that Round1 warns may arrive at different times depending on shipping. Food and drink guests get a Persona 30th collaboration menu, a mystery coaster with each collaboration drink, and a collector's cup that comes with free soda for the day of purchase. Bowling guests who buy a 90-minute, 120-minute or unlimited package can take home a keychain or sticker, while party and Spo-cha bookings qualify for an exclusive big towel.

The two waves

Wave one opened on Thursday 1 October at 10am local time. Wave two begins on Thursday 5 November at 10am, and the collaboration window runs through to 31 March 2027. Round1 says the items are limited to participating locations and available only while supplies last.

The stores that slipped

A logistics delay has pushed two pieces of the launch back at specific branches. The special club card is now expected at the Holyoke Mall in Holyoke, Massachusetts and the Maine Mall in South Portland, Maine by the end of 1 October, while the exclusive big towel is due at Holyoke Mall on 6 October. Everything else is rolling out on schedule, Round1 says.

Our opinion

The most interesting thing about Round1's collaboration is how physical it is. Where other Persona 30th tie-ins have traded on nostalgia for a soundtrack or a favourite character, this one turns the anniversary into an afternoon out: bowling, crane games and a themed soda in a takeaway cup. That suits a series that has always sold its worlds as places you want to linger in, and it gives US fans something the Japanese events have enjoyed for years. The catches are the same ones that follow every Persona merchandise drop, though, with small print, spend thresholds and stock that tends to vanish before you finish reading the rules. Go for the experience, not the resale.
