The Switch 2 edition launches on December 3 physically and digitally. Players who own the original game on the Nintendo Switch can buy an upgrade pack.

The Switch 2 Edition of Xenoblade Chronicles 2 launched digitally along with an upgrade pack on July 30 and will launch physically on October 1.

The Switch 2 edition’s new character and mode give Xenoblade Chronicles 3 a more useful announcement than a simple platform logo, but a video still cannot establish how substantial those additions are. Existing players should wait for a feature breakdown and pricing before deciding whether to return, while newcomers need to understand what is included in this version. The verdict is monitor.
