UFC 6 adds four fighters in its UFC 334 update
The UFC 334 Fight Week patch adds Navajo Stirling, Fatima Kline, Wang Cong and Chris Leben alongside a wide gameplay pass.
EA Sports has released the UFC 6 UFC 334 Fight Week update, adding three new rostered fighters, a Fighter Pass character, new moves and a long list of tuning and bug fixes. The update went live on 5 November at 10am PT, following EA’s official announcement. 1
Navajo Stirling joins the light heavyweight division, while Fatima Kline arrives at women’s strawweight and Wang Cong joins the women’s flyweight division. The update also adds Chris Leben, based on his UFC 132 appearance against Wanderlei Silva, through the UFC 6 Fighter Pass. 1
The four additions are accompanied by new signature moves for fighters including Diego Lopes, Lerone Murphy, Carlos Prates, Paddy Pimblett, Benoit Saint Denis and Yoel Romero. EA has also adjusted the stamina cost of Efficient Strikes and retuned several follow-up combo chains after tracking how they performed in high-volume fights. 1
The wider changelog covers crashes, ground-game states, knockdown interactions, animation issues, fighter appearances, career mode settings and presentation bugs. EA also listed future work that is not included in this patch, including a fix for certain grappling animations, the Hanging Transition issue and another version of the Auto-Parry bug. 1
Operations Sports reports the same roster additions and gameplay changes, including fixes for a career-mode softlock and problems affecting blocking, clinches and fighter data. 2 UFC 6 is available on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, according to EA’s update page. 1
Our opinion
This is a substantial live-service update rather than a token Fight Week skin drop. Three free roster additions, a Fighter Pass fighter and a broad mechanical pass give UFC 6 players reasons to revisit both online match-ups and career mode. The most important detail is EA’s separation between shipped fixes and future work: the update improves the current game, but it does not pretend that every awkward transition or defensive exploit has already been solved.
