A bakery with a magical twist
Developed by Sunny Labs and published by Silver Lining Interactive, The Witch’s Bakery follows Lunne, a witch who runs a bakery in modern-day Paris. She can see into people’s hearts and use that insight to help heal emotional scars. 12
The game divides each day into three phases. Lunne serves customers during the day, explores Paris and builds relationships in the evening, then improves her magic, decorates the bakery and learns recipes at night. The world also includes Heart Palaces, surreal spaces inside characters’ emotions where Lunne searches for the right ingredients to help them. 1
The physical edition is priced at $34.99, while the PlayStation Store listing confirms the game’s release on PS5. 12
Why it stands out
The Witch’s Bakery is pitching a gentler kind of adventure RPG. Its hook is not simply running a shop: the bakery gives Lunne a way into the private problems of her customers, while Paris provides a larger space for exploration and friendship. That combination gives the launch a distinct identity in a busy autumn release schedule.
Our opinion
A bakery-management game with emotional exploration is a much more memorable pitch than another fantasy RPG built around combat alone. The Witch’s Bakery still has to make its three-part routine feel varied over time, but the Heart Palaces give its story a promising way to turn personal struggles into playable spaces. It is a launch worth watching for players who want a warm, character-led adventure rather than another grim quest for world-ending power.
