Stuffed: Two Foot Hero launches in November with Steam demo

Stuffed: Two Foot Hero launches on Quest and PC VR on 3 November, with a multiplayer Steam demo available ahead of Next Fest.

Stuffed: Two Foot Hero now has a firm release date: the co-op wave shooter launches for Quest and PC VR on 3 November, while a playable PC VR demo is already available on Steam. UploadVR reports that the demo is timed to arrive ahead of next week’s Next Fest. 1

The game comes from Waving Bear Studio, the developer behind 2023’s Stuffed on Xbox and its 2024 Steam release. This follow-up puts players in the role of a stuffed teddy bear defending a little girl from nightmare creatures, turning a child’s bedroom into a colourful co-op shooting arena. 1

What the demo includes

The Steam demo covers one full map, the complete weapon set, some cosmetics and a preview of the progression system. It also supports multiplayer, although the developer has not confirmed whether demo progress will transfer to the full release. 1

The finished game is planned to launch with six maps and four-player co-op, alongside the Quest and PC VR versions. The Steam listing identifies the game as STUFFED: Two Foot Hero and provides the official store artwork used above. 2

The November date gives VR players a useful window to try the game before launch rather than relying on the earlier showcase reveal. It also makes the demo the more immediate story: anyone curious about the sequel can test its core loop now, then decide whether the full co-op campaign belongs on their November calendar.

Our opinion

A free demo is the right move for a co-op shooter built around a playful premise. The one-map limit means it cannot answer every question about long-term progression, but it should reveal whether the four-player chaos feels entertaining or repetitive. The important caveat is that the demo’s progress carry-over remains unknown, so players should treat it as a preview rather than an early start on the full game.
