Project Sekai: Colorful Stage! feat. Hatsune Miku has added the rhythm-game song Discotic Blue, while its MORE MORE JUMP! Memories retrospective event and matching gacha are now live. The update arrived on October 26 for the iOS and Android rhythm adventure game.

The song, written and composed by Rulmry., was selected through the 35th Project Sekai NEXT song contest. Players can exchange Music Cards in the in-game Music Shop to add it to their rhythm-game library. The announcement comes from Sega and Colorful Palette, the teams behind Project Sekai (プロジェクトセカイ カラフルステージ! feat. 初音ミク).

The MORE MORE JUMP! Memories event runs from October 26 at 3pm until October 30 at 8:59pm. It is a recap event rather than a collection of brand-new story chapters, bringing together key stories for players who want to catch up before the main story moves into its next phase. Players can earn event points and event badges by taking part in solo, co-op and challenge lives, ranked matches, and activities in My Sekai.

The event’s login campaign runs through October 30 and gives players five free gacha tickets each day. The associated MORE MORE JUMP! Memories gacha runs until October 31 at 11:59am and features members of the MORE MORE JUMP! unit, including eligible four-star members from earlier key-story event banners. Completing the event’s stamp missions can also award a guaranteed four-star MORE MORE JUMP! gacha ticket.

The official campaign artwork presents the event as a way for newer players to revisit the unit’s story before Project Sekai’s wider narrative reaches its next climax. The schedule is time-limited, and Sega notes that event dates can change, so players should check the in-game notices for the final details.

Our opinion

This is a sensible catch-up event rather than empty calendar-filler. Project Sekai has accumulated a lot of story and character history, and a structured recap gives new players a way into MORE MORE JUMP! without asking them to trawl through years of content. The new song contest addition also gives the update a useful bit of fresh content, while the ticket rewards make the short event window feel worth checking in for. The lack of new story chapters may disappoint long-time players, but that is a fair trade if the recap genuinely makes the next major arc easier to follow.
