Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown is available as a Nintendo Switch Online Game Trial in Europe until 30 September 2026, giving subscribers access to the full adventure without buying it first.
What's actually going on
Nintendo’s French service page confirms that the trial is part of Nintendo Switch Online, while the game page identifies the downloadable Switch release. The window runs from 24 September to 30 September at 23:59 CEST.
This is a time-limited trial rather than a permanent giveaway. Players can download the full game and continue through its adventure during the promotion, but the access ends when the offer closes unless they purchase the game.
That makes the offer a useful chance to test Ubisoft’s platforming adventure properly. A complete-game trial is considerably more informative than a short demo, especially for a title built around exploration, combat and puzzle-solving.
Our opinion
The timing makes sense for anyone who has kept The Lost Crown on a wishlist. A week is enough to establish whether its movement and exploration click, and access to the complete game removes the usual demo-sized caveat. The important detail is the expiry: downloading it during the trial does not turn the game into a permanent free entitlement.
