Zorua headlines Pokémon GO’s October Community Day
Zorua takes over on 10 October from 2pm to 5pm local time, with Sucker Punch Zoroark, 3× XP and longer Incense on offer.

Pokémon GO’s October Community Day is putting Zorua in the spotlight on Saturday, 10 October, running from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time.
What's actually going on
Zorua, the Tricky Fox Pokémon, will appear more frequently in the wild during the three-hour window. As with every Community Day, the luckiest trainers can also find a Shiny version, or one carrying a Special Background.
The featured move is the real prize. Evolving Zorua during the event, or within four hours afterwards, produces a Zoroark that knows Sucker Punch as a Fast Attack. That is a limited window for anyone who has been sitting on the Candy.
The bonus list is generous by Community Day standards: 3× XP and 2× Candy for catching Pokémon, and double the usual chance for trainers at level 31 and above to pick up Candy XL. Incense activated during the event lasts three hours, excluding the Daily Adventure Incense, while Lure Modules last one hour and may attract the featured Pokémon. Traders also get one additional Special Trade, taking the daily maximum to two, with Stardust costs cut by 50%.
The event’s paid Special Research is priced at US$1.99 or the local equivalent. It includes three encounters with Zorua carrying a Special Background, a Premium Battle Pass and a Rare Candy XL, among other rewards.
Why you should care
Community Day remains the cheapest way to turn a popular Pokémon into a usable one. Zorua is not the hardest creature to find, but Zoroark with Sucker Punch is a different proposition, and a legacy Fast Attack like that usually only comes round again through events or Elite Charged TMs. If you have been holding Candy and a decent Zorua, this is the window that matters.
The bonuses also reward a specific kind of planning. Three-hour Incense is worth timing around a walk rather than a sofa session, and the doubled Candy XL chance makes the event one of the better days of the month for anyone pushing a Pokémon past level 40.
Our opinion
Zorua Community Day is a solid, unfussy event: one featured Pokémon, one genuinely useful legacy move and a bonus list that respects players’ time. The 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. window is short enough that a missed afternoon stings, so if Sucker Punch Zoroark matters to your roster, put it in the calendar now rather than remembering at 4:45 p.m.
