PlayStation Plus November games bring Dead Island 2 and Monster Train 2
November’s PlayStation Plus Monthly Games are Dead Island 2, Tomb Raider IV–VI Remastered and Monster Train 2, arriving on 3 November.
Sony has confirmed the three games joining PlayStation Plus’ Monthly Games line-up for November 2026: Dead Island 2, Tomb Raider IV–VI Remastered and Monster Train 2. All three will be available to PlayStation Plus members from Tuesday 3 November until Monday 30 November, according to the announcement on PlayStation.Blog 1.
What’s included
Dead Island 2 leads the line-up on both PS5 and PS4. The zombie action RPG sends players through a sun-soaked but infected Los Angeles, or “HELL-A”, with quests, survivors and deliberately pulpy horror. Sony highlights its close-quarters combat, improvised zombie-slaying weapons and online co-op for up to three players 1.
The second game is Tomb Raider IV–VI Remastered, also available on PS5 and PS4. The collection brings together The Last Revelation, Chronicles and The Angel of Darkness, covering Lara Croft’s so-called Darkness Trilogy. Players can switch between the original polygonal presentation and the remastered graphics during play 1.
Rounding out the selection is Monster Train 2 for PS5. The deckbuilding roguelite places five new clans in an alliance of angels and demons, then sends them through Heaven, Hell and the Abyss to face Titans. Its battles use three vertical levels, with cards, units and upgrades combining to shape each run 1.
Availability and timing
The games are a subscription benefit rather than a sale, so the PlayStation.Blog announcement does not list a retail price. Members will need to add the titles during the November window, which ends on Monday 30 November. The previous month’s games remain available until Monday 2 November, leaving a short handover between the two line-ups 1.
The selection covers three distinct flavours of play: cooperative zombie combat, a single-player adventure collection and a strategy roguelite. That gives November’s offer a broader spread than a line-up built around one genre, although the PS5-only status of Monster Train 2 means PS4 owners will receive the other two games rather than the complete trio.
Our opinion
This is a tidy, recognisable line-up rather than a thematic gamble. Dead Island 2 supplies the biggest action hook, while the Tomb Raider collection gives subscribers a substantial archive release and Monster Train 2 adds a more systems-driven alternative. The important detail is the date: all three arrive on 3 November, so members have a clear window to claim them before December’s games replace the selection.
