Two Persona 3 Reload characters join the global version
Atlus and Perfect World have confirmed the launch windows for Mitsuru and Fuuka in the worldwide version of Persona 5: The Phantom X. Mitsuru will appear first when the game's 4.11 patch arrives on 15 October, while Fuuka is scheduled for the 4.12 update on 29 October.1
Mitsuru is an Assassin-type character whose attacks focus on single-target damage. She also fights alongside her Persona, Penthesilea, and uses Ice-based abilities. Fuuka joins as a Navigator, with a support-focused role alongside her Persona, Lucia.1
The announcement also confirms that Rie Tanaka and Mamiko Noto will voice the two characters in the worldwide release, reprising their respective roles.1

Our opinion
This is a useful crossover for players who have been waiting for the worldwide version to catch up with characters already available in the original release. The staggered dates also give the update a clear rhythm: Mitsuru is the immediate headline, while Fuuka gives the game's 4.12 patch another reason to return later in October. The important distinction is that these are confirmed launch windows, not a vague promise that the characters are merely in development.
Persona 5: The Phantom X is available on PC and mobile, while Persona 3 Reload is available on Switch 2, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and PC.1
