Love and Deepspace teams up with Blade Runner 2049 for crossover event

Love and Deepspace is crossing over with Blade Runner 2049 for a neon-lit event featuring five characters, new rewards and an official concept trailer.

Infold Games is bringing its sci-fi romance game Love and Deepspace together with Blade Runner 2049 for a limited crossover event, pairing the game's five male leads with the film's neon-noir atmosphere. The collaboration was announced on 18 October, with the event scheduled to run from 19 October at 6am until 5 November at 5:59am in server time.1

The crossover is built around the idea of being “interlinked”, a phrase that gives the promotion a neat bridge between the two properties. The official concept trailer places Xavier, Caleb, Rafayel, Sylus and Zayne in a futuristic cityscape, with their portraits appearing across towering digital displays. A central figure stands beneath the screens as the Love and Deepspace and Blade Runner 2049 logos share the frame.2

That visual language is more than a quick logo swap. The trailer leans into the film's familiar combination of rain-slick streets, glowing signage and uneasy questions about identity, while keeping the focus on the romantic cast that defines Love and Deepspace. The result is a crossover presentation that uses the film as a mood and setting rather than pretending the two stories are suddenly one canon.

What the crossover includes

The event is called “Rendered Real” in the official promotional material. Players can log in during the event window to claim crossover rewards, including the Duo Photo Pose “At Your Touch”, the portrait background “Manifest” and the “2049” sticker. The promotion also promises a chance to recreate an iconic scene from the film with a chosen character.12

The timing matters here. The event begins on 19 October, so the announcement is describing an upcoming collaboration rather than content that is already live. Players should check their own server's event notice for the exact local conversion and any additional requirements once the crossover opens.

The concept PV also makes the partnership's tone clear. Memory, perception and the question of whether love is real are pushed to the front, echoing the film's interest in artificial identity without turning the mobile game into a grim science-fiction thriller. It is a glossy, knowingly romantic take on Blade Runner 2049's world, designed to make the crossover instantly legible in a single trailer.

Our opinion

This is a surprisingly coherent pairing on paper. Love and Deepspace already lives in a heightened science-fiction setting, so the collaboration does not need to force a fantasy franchise into an unrelated product tie-in. The trailer's strongest idea is its restraint: the neon city, giant screens and shared “interlinked” language do the crossover work while the game's characters remain recognisably themselves.

The event will be worth watching for how far that visual concept carries into the actual rewards and scenes. For now, though, the official trailer has cleared the hardest hurdle for a collaboration like this: it makes the combination feel deliberate rather than random. The crossover begins on 19 October and runs until 5 November, giving players a short window to collect the advertised rewards and see how much of the film-inspired presentation makes it into the game.12
