Jump Festa 2027 to Feature Shueisha Board Games and Video Games

Shueisha’s Jump Festa 2027 line-up includes playable demos for two games, a Golden Kamuy board game and a HOSHiN ENGi Re:surrection stage reveal.

Shueisha has confirmed the games and event activities it plans to bring to Jump Festa 2027, with playable demos, a board game launch and a stage presentation among the highlights. The annual event is scheduled for December 19–20 at Makuhari Messe in Chiba, Japan. 1

The playable line-up includes Jujutsu Kaisen Rumble: Survivaton and HOSHiN ENGi Re:surrection. Visitors who try the demos will receive bonus items, giving the event a little more incentive than simply queuing for a hands-on look at two upcoming releases.

The event will also put the Golden Kamuy board game on sale. Buyers will receive an exclusive extra containing three cards, while the game demos come with their own bonus rewards. That makes the board game part of the announcement more than a footnote: it is one of the few pieces of Jump Festa 2027 merchandise visitors can actually take home.

Shueisha is planning a special stage show to reveal more information about HOSHiN ENGi Re:surrection. The game is a roguelite hack-and-slash title based on Ryu Fujisaki’s Hoshin Engi manga, and its Steam listing describes a fantasy world of immortals, demons and mythic beasts drawn from ancient Chinese mythology. 12

HOSHiN ENGi Re:surrection is due to launch in 2027 for Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam. Jujutsu Kaisen Rumble: Survivaton was also delayed into 2027, with versions planned for Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC via Steam. The Jump Festa appearance should therefore offer a useful snapshot of Shueisha’s game plans before either title reaches release.

Our opinion

This is a stronger Jump Festa games announcement than a simple demo list. HOSHiN ENGi Re:surrection gets a dedicated information reveal, while Jujutsu Kaisen Rumble: Survivaton brings the larger anime-game name and a playable build. Add the Golden Kamuy board game and the event has a neat spread of digital and tabletop projects rather than one headline attraction padded with extras. The main question is whether Shueisha will use the stage slot to show a meaningful chunk of new gameplay, or merely repeat the broad 2027 window already known.
