Gundam Blitz Order announces 500-player network test
Bandai Namco has opened registration for a 500-player Gundam Blitz Order network test ahead of the free-to-play mobile game's full launch.
Bandai Namco has announced Gundam Blitz Order, a new free-to-play mobile game for iOS and Android. The publisher’s official website has opened registration for a network test, giving players an early look at the game before its full launch. 12
The network test
Registration is open from 15 October to 26 October 2026, with the test scheduled to run from 18 November to 24 November. The official site says the test will support 500 participants, with places selected by lottery if applications exceed the limit. Players in the United States and England can apply, and selected participants are due to be notified by email from 13 November. 1
The test will use a limited version of the app rather than the finished release. Bandai Namco says some features and units will be restricted, and maintenance is scheduled during the test period. The company also notes that the dates and test details can change without notice, so registration is not a guarantee of access. 1
What Gundam Blitz Order is
The official game site describes Gundam Blitz Order as a squad-building mobile game built around Mobile Suits, warships and Mobile Armors from across the Mobile Suit Gundam series. Players can assemble teams, use each unit’s abilities and EX skills, and develop their units over time. 2
The game is designed around an idle-friendly progression system. Enhancement materials can be collected automatically, allowing players to level up an entire group of units at once. Newly acquired units can be deployed immediately, while the wider game includes boss battles, warship escort missions and collectible Gundam items. 2
That gives Gundam Blitz Order a fairly clear pitch: a game for fans who want to build a large Gundam roster without treating every session as a long manual battle. The network test should reveal how much of that progression loop is available before launch, and whether the mobile format makes the series’ huge catalogue feel manageable rather than merely busy.
Our opinion
The 500-player limit makes this a small test, but it is still a useful early signal for a new Gundam mobile game. The official material is careful to frame the test as a load check rather than a soft launch, so players should treat it as a chance to help test the app rather than a preview of the final balance. The combination of automatic materials, team-wide upgrades and a broad roster could suit short mobile sessions, provided the game gives players meaningful reasons to think about squad composition beyond collecting familiar suits.
For now, the important dates are straightforward: applications close on 26 October, the network test runs from 18 November, and the full release remains undated. 1
