Final Fantasy XIV knight Haurchefant gets a Nendoroid
Good Smile Company has opened preorders for a Nendoroid of the Heavensward knight, shipping in February 2027 with his shield, sword and a Splendid face plate.

Good Smile Company has opened preorders for a Nendoroid of Haurchefant Greystone, the knight of House Fortemps whose death in Heavensward is still argued about more than a decade on. The figure is number 3,125 in the Nendoroid line, and preorders run from 2 October to 11 November 2026.
Shield, sword and three faces
Haurchefant ships in February 2027 for 7,900 yen in Japan, with a North American release in the first quarter of 2027 priced at $53.99. He stands about 100mm tall and is sculpted by Shichibee of Matsuda Model. The set includes three face plates, a smiling expression, a serious one and the beaming Splendid face fans will recognise, along with a Fortemps Kite Shield, a Fortemps Winglet sword and interchangeable hand parts for different poses.
Part of a growing cast
The knight joins a Final Fantasy XIV shelf that already includes Nendoroids of Y'shtola Rhul, G'raha Tia and Estinien Varlineau, with Emet-Selch and Yotsuyu Brutus expected to follow. Good Smile's own store throws in a bonus display base for orders placed during the preorder window, and the figure is limited to three per person.
Our opinion
Haurchefant is a strange choice for a shelf and an obvious one for a memorial. He exists in Heavensward to be the one authority figure who simply believes in you, and he is gone before the story lets you take that for granted, which is exactly why he still gets quoted. A Nendoroid is an odd monument, because squashing the proportions removes the tragedy along with the shoulders, but the Splendid face plate gives the game away. Good Smile is not really selling a knight. It is selling the memory of one, and at this price the audience has already agreed that is worth owning.
