The game launches for Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam on March 4. Announcement Trailer Nintendo Direct footage The company describes the story: Yearning for a better future is considered a capital offence in the kingdom of Urvis Ael. After Wade questions this key tenet of his society, he finds himself on the run in an era-spanning adventure that challenges his core beliefs and reveals an unknown world filled with hidden truths. Alongside an eclectic group of new allies trying to survive a dangerous journey, Wade must travel through time to save civilisations of the past from catastrophes and unravel the secrets of a lost history. The protagonist Wade can use the power of Psychometry to predict enemy actions and battle outcomes. Wade can also inherit the abilities and classes of heroes from the past. Eternal Anima has the advantage of arriving with a proper multi-platform footprint, but availability is not the same thing as identity. The useful question is what Marvelous is doing here that players cannot get from the next dozen fantasy RPGs. The announcement earns a place on the radar; the trailers and combat details now need to show a game with its own pulse rather than another attractive sword swinging through mist.
