CD Projekt Red posts 37% profit jump as it maps out three years of Witcher releases
CD Projekt Red reports strong first-half results while outlining its planned schedule for the next wave of Witcher releases.
CD Projekt Red has reported a strong first half of 2026 while laying out an ambitious three-year plan for its Witcher projects.
The company reported revenue of 435 million PLN, up 23% year over year, and consolidated net profit of 249 million PLN, an increase of 37%. Net profitability reached 57.2%.
A packed Witcher roadmap
CD Projekt Red says The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Remastered is scheduled for 29 September 2026 on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch 2.
The publisher also lists The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Songs of the Past for 2027 and a planned 2028 release window for The Witcher 4. These are publisher plans rather than guarantees, so dates can still move.
The company says The Witcher 3 has sold more than 65 million copies and the wider franchise has passed 90 million. Cyberpunk 2077 has passed 40 million copies, while Phantom Liberty has sold 15 million.
Our opinion
CD Projekt Red is clearly betting on a long tail for its biggest worlds, and the financial results suggest that strategy is paying off. The roadmap is exciting, but the sensible approach is to treat every future date as a target until the studio shows the games running.
