Umamusume Ichiban Kuji brings GOLD WEEK figures to Japan today
The Umamusume GOLD WEEK Ichiban Kuji lottery launches in Japan with three figures, a gold Golshi statue and smaller prizes.
Umamusume: Pretty Derby is getting a sizeable GOLD WEEK merchandise drop in Japan today, with the latest Ichiban Kuji lottery bringing character figures, a gold Golshi statue and several smaller prizes to participating shops. 1
The campaign is the 14-draw Umamusume Pretty Derby Ichiban Kuji. Its headline prizes are figures of Stay Gold, Dream Journey and Orfevre, alongside the roughly 20-centimetre gold Golshi statue. Smaller prizes include six choconokko figures, cool towels, holographic badges and rubber charms. 12
The prize line-up
A-prize is a Stay Gold GOLD WEEK figure measuring about 17 centimetres, followed by an approximately 18-centimetre Dream Journey figure and a 20-centimetre Orfevre figure. The D-prize gold Golshi statue is also about 20 centimetres tall, making it one of the set's most conspicuous pieces.
The remaining prizes broaden the lottery beyond display figures. The E-prize contains six small figures, while the F-prize offers eight selectable cool-towel designs. There are 10 holographic badge designs and 10 rubber-charm designs, although the latter two categories include blind selections. The final ticket drawn at a participating shop wins a special-pose Stay Gold GOLD WEEK figure, while a separate double-chance campaign offers another route to the same figure. 12
Where and when to buy
The lottery starts in Japanese shops on Saturday, 17 October, with participating locations including Mini Stop, Daily Yamazaki, bookshops, hobby shops, selected drugstores, Ichiban Kuji official shops and Ichiban Kuji Online. Each draw costs ¥920 including tax. Online sales are scheduled to begin at 5pm on Tuesday, 20 October. 12
The double-chance campaign runs from launch day until the end of January 2027. Availability will vary by shop, and the product page warns that the pictured items may differ slightly from the final products. 1
Our opinion
This is a particularly focused Umamusume lottery rather than a grab-bag of unrelated merchandise. The GOLD WEEK styling gives the three main figures a coherent look, while the gold Golshi statue supplies the loud, instantly recognisable centrepiece. The ¥920 entry price is not trivial, but the line-up gives collectors several meaningful targets instead of making the top prize do all the work. For fans outside Japan, the main catch is access: the official listing confirms the launch details, but it does not promise international distribution. 1
