Twinkleby celebrates its first birthday with a price cut
Might & Delight's cosy island decorator Twinkleby turns one with three new Neighbours, a travelling Salesmouse called Cornel, 11 new item sets and a permanent price drop to £11.75.
Twinkleby has turned one, and Might & Delight is marking the occasion with the cosy island decorator's biggest update yet. The Swedish studio is rolling out three new Neighbours, a travelling Salesmouse, 11 new item sets and a permanent price cut, alongside a 70 per cent anniversary discount that runs until 30 September.
The headline addition is Cornel, a friendly Salesmouse who will start visiting islands across the Starchipelago with wares gathered on his travels. His inventory finally answers one of the community's longest-running requests: year-round access to seasonal items, so decorators no longer have to wait for a particular month to finish a room. Cornel also stocks 11 new item sets that cannot be bought from Molligan, among them Birdwatching, Outlook Motif, Garden Set II, Cabinet, Shelf, Forest Set II, Full Breakfast, Crystal, Salon, Stone Set II and Plank.
Three new common Neighbours join the roster as well: Mr. Beaufort, a night owl with creative tastes; Basil, a loner and bibliophile; and Madame Eleanor, another lone creative. Furnishing houses to attract residents, and working out what makes them happy, remains the core loop, with the standing option to evict everyone and fling their furniture into space when the mood takes you.
What it costs and where to get it
Twinkleby is 70 per cent off from 23 to 30 September 2026. After that the game stays cheaper for good: the standard price drops to €13.49 / £11.75 / $12.99 from €16.49 / £14.29 / $16.99. It is available on Steam in 12 languages, including English, Swedish, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Japanese, Korean and both Simplified and Traditional Chinese.
The anniversary update lands exactly a year after the game's 23 September 2025 launch, and follows twelve months of seasonal events, content drops and patch notes that the studio has pushed out in response to player feedback.
Our opinion
A 70 per cent discount bolted to a permanent price cut is an unusually honest flex from a studio that could have milked a birthday sale and quietly restored the old price a week later. The real win is Cornel. Year-round seasonal items dismantle the single most irritating thing about a game built on decorating at your own pace, turning a calendar-shaped collection problem into a browse-and-buy one. At £11.75 with a year of updates behind it, Twinkleby is simultaneously the cheapest and the most complete it has ever been, which is precisely the moment to jump in if you have been circling it.
