Saber Interactive has put K.I.T.T., the hyper-intelligent car from Knight Rider, behind the wheel in a new gameplay trailer for Stuntman: Hollywood. The footage shows the upcoming stunt-driving game recreating the television series' high-speed chases, jumps and obstacle courses on movie-style sets.12

The trailer presents K.I.T.T. as one of the recognisable vehicles players can drive while working through increasingly elaborate stunt sequences. Rather than simply racing from one checkpoint to the next, the game asks players to hit ramps at the right speed, thread cars through tight spaces and complete dangerous manoeuvres while the fictional cameras are rolling.12

Saber first announced Stuntman: Hollywood in June as a new single-player entry in the stunt-racing series. The game is being developed for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC, and its scenarios draw on a wider collection of film and television properties, including Fast & Furious, Back to the Future, Miami Vice and Death Race.23

The new footage also confirms that K.I.T.T. is not the only famous vehicle in the line-up. The wider game includes the DeLorean Time Machine alongside supercars, muscle cars and motorcycles, giving each production set a different kind of driving challenge. Saber has not announced a release date yet.12

Our opinion

K.I.T.T. is a smart fit for Stuntman: Hollywood because the car's whole identity is built around precision driving under pressure. The trailer's appeal comes less from a guest cameo than from seeing that idea translated into the game's stunt-show format. The unanswered question is whether the licensed vehicles meaningfully change the challenges, or simply provide a fresh coat of paint for the same sequences. For now, the combination of recognisable machines and deliberately choreographed chaos gives this one a stronger hook than a standard racing reveal.12
