My Hero Academia: All’s Justice arrives on Switch 2 with GameShare and a 30fps ceiling
Bandai Namco is bringing MY HERO ACADEMIA: All’s Justice to Switch 2 on 4 September, with GameShare support, a new minigame mode and performance of up to 30fps.
MY HERO ACADEMIA: All’s Justice is heading to Nintendo Switch 2 on 4 September, giving fans of the anime another excuse to shout “Plus Ultra!” at a screen while a city collapses around them.
Bandai Namco’s 3D battle-action game is based on the series’ Final War and was already released on PS5, Xbox Series X|S and Steam. The Switch 2 version adds GameShare support for online battles and a new minigame mode featuring Class 1-A students, with a Pac-Man collaboration arriving through a free update.
A portable Final War
Nintendo Life reports that the Switch 2 release will be available in standard, deluxe and ultimate editions. The deluxe package includes the season pass and five additional playable characters planned after launch, while early buyers receive Izuku Midoriya Rising, All For One Chaos and 30,000 hero coins.
The physical package uses a Game-Key Card rather than carrying the entire game on the cartridge. That means the card is a key to the download, not a tiny plastic miracle containing the full adventure.
Performance is the awkward Quirk
The Switch 2 version targets 1080p in both docked and handheld play, but its frame rate is listed as up to 30fps. The PS5 and Xbox Series X|S versions target the same resolution while reaching up to 60fps, so portability comes with a clear performance trade-off.
Our opinion
The portable version makes obvious sense for a series built around quick bursts of spectacular superhero nonsense, and GameShare could make it easier to get friends involved. The new Class 1-A minigame is a nice extra rather than a reason to buy the whole game.
The 30fps ceiling is less exciting, particularly when the other console versions can run at 60fps. Fans who want to play the Final War on the sofa will have a perfectly serviceable option, but Switch 2 owners should go in knowing that “next-generation” does not automatically mean silky-smooth. The Quirks are powerful; the frame rate is keeping its head down.
