Marvel’s Wolverine takes centre stage in PS photo week

PlayStation’s latest Share of the Week celebrates player-made Marvel’s Wolverine Photo Mode images and sets a new Logan-themed prompt.

Wolverine crouches in a dramatic pose with his claws extended against a blue-lit background

Marvel’s Wolverine is taking over PlayStation’s latest Share of the Week, with players showing off the claws, costumes and Photo Mode moments they captured in Insomniac Games’ superhero adventure.

A week of ferocious Photo Mode moments

PlayStation Blog’s 25 September feature gathers six community screenshots built around Wolverine’s ferocious side. The selection ranges from close-ups of Logan’s illuminated claws to a dramatic clash with Omega Red, giving the week a clear focus on the character’s physicality.

The feature also highlights a hairy and shirtless Logan, Wolverine lunging through a fiery backdrop, and Jean Grey ready to attack. Each image comes from a player submission tagged with #PSshare and #PSBlog, the hashtags PlayStation uses to find community work for its weekly showcases.

The next theme is Logan

PlayStation is keeping the spotlight on Marvel’s Wolverine for the next round. Players are being asked to share heroic portraits of Logan in the game’s Photo Mode by 11:59pm Pacific time on 30 September 2026.

The showcase is a small feature, but it underlines how Photo Mode has become part of a game’s ongoing conversation. A single character theme gives players a shared prompt while leaving room for very different interpretations, from a clean portrait to a full cinematic encounter.

Our opinion

This is exactly the sort of low-pressure community feature that suits Marvel’s Wolverine. Insomniac’s version of Logan is built around readable silhouettes, dramatic lighting and expressive combat poses, so a focused Photo Mode prompt naturally produces images with personality. The choice to follow a broad combat theme with a more specific Logan portrait brief should also give the next batch a stronger visual identity.
