LEGO Harry Potter Collection heads to Switch 2 in October
Both LEGO Harry Potter games and their DLC are coming to Nintendo Switch 2 on October 16, 2026.
Warner Bros. Games, TT Games and the LEGO Group have announced LEGO Harry Potter Collection for Nintendo Switch 2, bringing both brick-built adventures and their downloadable content to the handheld on October 16, 2026. Pre-orders are open now.
According to the announcement, the compilation covers LEGO Harry Potter: Years 1-4 and LEGO Harry Potter: Years 5-7, spanning all eight films with puzzles, spell-casting and TT Games’ trademark slapstick LEGO nonsense.
What’s actually going on
The Switch 2 version is being developed by TT Games, published by Warner Bros. Games and ported by Double Eleven and Cast Iron Games. It will be sold physically and digitally, with both games on one key card in the physical edition. All previously released DLC packs are included, with extra characters and spells.
Why you should care
This is comfort-food gaming: familiar stories, co-op chaos and enough collectible hunting to make an afternoon disappear. The catch is that these games are hardly new, and the announcement does not state a Switch 2 price. A key card is welcome, but it is not the same thing as a substantial technical upgrade.
Our opinion
LEGO Harry Potter Collection is a charming fit for Switch 2 and the complete DLC bundle makes this a tidy all-in-one edition. Pre-order only if the price behaves itself; otherwise, wait for a discount and let someone else pay full price for a re-release wearing a newer hat.
