GeForce NOW lines up 25 games for October

GeForce NOW is adding 25 games across October, led by The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Remastered and a CONTROL Resonant reward for Performance and Ultimate members.

GeForce NOW has set out its October line-up, with 25 games joining the cloud gaming service across the month and six of them playable already. NVIDIA's GFN Thursday post, dated 1 October 2026, leads with a member reward and the arrival of one of the past decade's most reissued role-playing games.

A reward, and the White Wolf

Performance and Ultimate members can claim a Third Ice Baseball Cap for CONTROL Resonant, the cloud version of the paranatural action game in which Dylan Faden fights through a warped Manhattan while searching for his sister, the Federal Bureau of CONTROL director Jesse Faden. The reward code can be redeemed from 1 October to 1 November at 11.59pm Pacific, and the item can be equipped once Act 1 is finished.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Remastered launched on 29 September and is now streaming for Performance and Ultimate members, with Ultimate subscribers getting GeForce RTX 5080-class performance in the cloud. The post notes that the service handles rendering, downloads and storage, so no local hardware upgrade or lengthy install stands between the player and the next contract.

This week, and the month ahead

Six titles are playable this week: Minecraft Dungeons II and Planet Coaster 2 through Game Pass, Nivalis Nights, Bookshop Simulator and Megastore: Tidy Up Together, alongside The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Remastered itself. The October slate then runs from Gears of War: E-Day, STAR WARS: Galactic Racer and Clive Barker's Hellraiser: Revival in the first week to Planet Zoo 2, Total War: SHOGUN 2 – Complete Edition, Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun 2 and Beyond These Stars later in the month, with Graveyard Keeper 2, Solasta II and Tyr among the titles listed without fixed dates.

Eleven more games joined the library in September, among them The Blood of Dawnwalker, Death Stranding Director's Cut and Dune: Awakening. NVIDIA notes that GeForce NOW availability can lag a game's store release, because titles are onboarded after launch, and that a day pass can be applied towards a first monthly membership.

Our opinion

Monthly cloud line-ups are usually a list and a shrug, but the two headline items here say something about where GeForce NOW is aiming. A CONTROL Resonant cosmetic claimable for a month is a retention hook dressed as a gift, and keeping The Witcher 3 remaster's RTX 5080-class performance as an Ultimate-tier perk is the more revealing detail: the service is selling the absence of a hardware upgrade, not the games. That is a coherent pitch while graphics cards stay expensive, but it also means the value of the monthly list depends on how many of those 25 games you did not already own — and for a library deep enough to offer Graveyard Keeper 2 and Solasta II beside Gears of War: E-Day, the honest answer for most people is "enough, eventually".
