Dispatch adds mobile release date and two anniversary modes

AdHoc Studio will bring Dispatch to iOS and Android on 9 December, alongside two free anniversary modes for existing Deluxe owners.

Dispatch is heading to iOS and Android on 9 December 2026, while AdHoc Studio is also adding two new ways for existing players to revisit the superhero workplace comedy. The announcement comes with a free anniversary update for Deluxe owners and a paid upgrade route for standard-edition players. 1

Dispatch arrives on mobile

AdHoc Studio says the mobile version has been adapted for touch controls and vertical display. The first four episodes will be available for free, with the complete game unlocked for $19.99, although the final price may vary by region. 1

The move expands a game built around dialogue, character relationships and management decisions. The official Steam listing describes Dispatch as a mix of narrative choices, strategy and workplace comedy, with players managing a dysfunctional team while deciding which heroes to send into emergencies. 2

Two new ways to revisit Dispatch

The anniversary update adds Commentator and Storyboard modes. Commentator contains more than 16 hours of audio split between the cast and development teams, offering production anecdotes and behind-the-scenes discussion. The announcement says the audio is in English without dedicated subtitles. 1

Storyboard presents the full adventure through preparatory illustrations used before the final animation. Both modes can be enabled together, giving returning players a way to explore how scenes and characters developed without changing the main story. 1

The new modes are free for Deluxe owners. Standard-edition players need to upgrade to Deluxe to access them, and AdHoc Studio says that upgrade is currently discounted by 20 per cent on Steam and Xbox. 1

What happens next

The mobile release is scheduled for 9 December, so it is not available on phones yet. Players who already own Dispatch can use the anniversary content to revisit its production and presentation, while newcomers will get a free opening slice before deciding whether to unlock the rest.

Our opinion

This is a sensible anniversary update because it adds context rather than pretending a behind-the-scenes mode is a new chapter. The mobile launch also has a clear entry point: four free episodes should make it easier to judge whether Dispatch’s mix of branching dialogue and team management works on a phone before paying for the full story.
