Dead by Daylight and Diablo bring Lilith to the Fog
Dead by Daylight’s Diablo collaboration adds Lilith, Mephisto and Belial outfits, plus three survivor looks inspired by Sanctuary’s classes.
Dead by Daylight has crossed into Sanctuary with an official Diablo collaboration, bringing six new cosmetic outfits to Behaviour Interactive’s asymmetrical horror game. The collection adds versions of Lilith, Mephisto and Belial, alongside survivor looks inspired by Diablo’s Barbarian, Sorcerer and Necromancer classes. 1
What the Diablo collection adds
Lilith, the Mother of Sanctuary, appears as a Visceral outfit for The Artist. Mephisto, the Lord of Hatred, takes over The Nurse, while Belial, the Lord of Lies, is represented through The Dredge. The three killer outfits give Dead by Daylight’s existing roster a distinctly Diablo-flavoured makeover without adding new playable killers.
The crossover also gives three survivors new appearances. David King can dress as a Barbarian, Zarina Kassir takes on the Sorcerer look and Taurie Cain receives a Necromancer-inspired outfit. These are Very Rare cosmetic sets, so the collaboration changes the game’s presentation rather than its underlying mechanics.
The Steam announcement also confirms that Caroline Faber, Steve Blum and Ray Porter reprise their respective roles as Lilith, Mephisto and Belial. That voice cast detail gives the crossover a little more weight than a simple wardrobe swap, particularly for players familiar with Diablo’s English performances.
The collection became available on 20 October, putting the collaboration in players’ hands rather than leaving it as a future tease. The official promotional artwork places Lilith at the centre of a Diablo-heavy composition, with the Dead by Daylight and Diablo identities sharing equal billing.
Our opinion
This is a sensible crossover for Dead by Daylight because it understands what both games already do well. It does not try to turn the Fog into a Diablo role-playing system; instead, it uses recognisable characters, class silhouettes and returning voices to make existing cosmetics feel like a proper event. The result is more substantial than a logo swap, while still respecting the fact that Dead by Daylight’s appeal comes from its own killers, survivors and chase mechanics.
For fans of either series, the strongest draw is the specificity. Lilith, Mephisto and Belial are not vague demon-themed costumes, and the survivor outfits clearly reference Diablo’s classes. That makes the six-piece collection easy to understand at a glance — and likely to be more memorable than a broader, less focused tie-in.
