Danu: Rise of the Templars opens beta sign-ups
Danu: Rise of the Templars is inviting players to request access to its open-world MMORPG and co-op action RPG beta on Steam.

Danu: Rise of the Templars is now inviting players to request access to its beta through Steam. The game combines an open-world MMORPG with co-op action RPG systems in a fantasy medieval setting inspired by Knights Templar legends.
A medieval world built for parties
The game promises forests, castles, ruins and underground chambers to explore, with dynamic weather and day-night cycles shaping the world. Players can go alone or team up with friends as they choose between classes including Templar Knight, Viking Berserker, Druid, Inquisitor and Morgan Le Fay.
Its progression pitch extends beyond the usual dungeon loop. Players can raise Fire, Ice or Water dragons from eggs into flying mounts for aerial PvP, while raids offer powerful bosses and the chance to chase rare loot.
A game about building a place in the world
Guilds can build villages and own homes, alongside practical facilities such as stables, forges and mills. The wider premise is built around cooperation and reputation, with players serving either the Templar Order or the Inquisition while uncovering an alternate history.
That makes the beta sign-up more useful than a simple combat test: it is an early look at how the game intends to connect exploration, social structures, faction identity and large-scale encounters.
How to request access
The Steam page is the sign-up route. Open the Danu: Rise of the Templars listing and select “Request Access” to put your name forward for the beta.
Our opinion
The appealing part of Danu is the attempt to make its medieval fantasy setting feel like a place rather than a queue of activities. Dragons, guild villages, faction allegiance and reputation are all familiar ingredients individually, but they point towards a game that wants players to build a routine with other people instead of simply clearing the next instance. The risk is equally obvious: an open-world MMORPG promising classes, mounts, PvP, raids, housing and production facilities has a lot of systems to make coherent. The beta is therefore the important bit. It should show whether these ideas reinforce one another or just form a very long feature list. For now, the Steam sign-up is a reasonable invitation to see how much of that world is already taking shape.
