AVA RE:BIRTH eases its toughest mode after closed beta feedback

The upcoming PC FPS will soften its PvPvE extraction mode and add more launch options after its October closed beta.

AVA RE:BIRTH (AVA RE:BIRTH) is softening its most punishing new mode before launch, after feedback from the game's 2–7 October closed beta. Publisher G.O.P says the PvPvE extraction mode will be adjusted alongside a wider set of launch improvements.1

A less punishing extraction mode

The Hunting Field mode will receive changes to enemy NPC attack power, reaction speed, spawn positions and behaviour. The stated aim is to make fights less stressful, after beta players found the mode especially demanding without well-developed equipment.1

The launch version will also open several modes beyond Bomb and Annihilation, including the Occupation, Escort and Deathmatch formats shown in the latest trailer. Custom rooms, improved server selection and a Black Market for item trading are also planned for the full release.1

A return this autumn

The official AVA RE:BIRTH site describes the game as a PC online FPS built around class-based teamwork, with Pointman, Rifleman and Sniper roles.2 Its media page shows the same combat-focused presentation as the official promotional artwork used here.2

G.O.P has not given a precise launch date. The game remains scheduled for autumn 2026 on PC through Pmang, with an equipment-cost limit system planned for a later update to curb excessive power inflation and keep player skill central.1

Our opinion

This is the sort of beta response players want to see: the developer is targeting specific friction points rather than vaguely promising that the finished game will feel better. The real test will be whether the softer Hunting Field still has enough bite to make extraction exciting when AVA RE:BIRTH launches.12
