Pokémon UNITE adds Morpeko, Toxtricity, Jolteon and Flareon after Worlds

Pokémon UNITE is expanding its roster with four new playable Pokémon after ZETA DIVISION took the 2026 World Championship. Morpeko, Toxtricity, Jolteon and Flareon are all on the way, giving the team-battling game another injection of electric, furry and increasingly chaotic energy.

What’s actually going on: the official Japanese Pokémon UNITE site announced Morpeko and Toxtricity for September, while confirming Jolteon and Flareon without giving their individual release dates. ZETA DIVISION won the World Championship, with KOMAÏ finishing second and IGZIST third. The same announcement also lists Battle Pass Season 45 beginning on 1 September 2026.

The important caveat is regional timing. The announcement is from the Japanese site, and it does not provide exact dates, pricing or a complete rollout schedule for every territory. Players outside Japan should therefore treat the September mention as a useful window, not a guarantee that all four Pokémon arrive on the same day worldwide.

The additions also give Pokémon UNITE a neat spread of play styles to work with. Morpeko’s form-changing identity and Toxtricity’s aggressive personality feel like obvious fits for a game built around dramatic team fights, while Jolteon and Flareon bring two of the most recognisable Eeveelutions into the arena.

Our opinion

Four new Pokémon is a strong post-Worlds victory lap, even if the rollout details are frustratingly thin. ZETA DIVISION gets the trophy, players get fresh team-building options and The Pokémon Company gets another excuse to make everyone argue about balance. We’ll be watching the September launches closely — preferably from somewhere outside the matchmaking queue.
