Nintendo has confirmed that Pokémon Pokopia’s second Expansion Pass release, Part 2: Dazzling Decorations, will launch on Nintendo Switch 2 on 9 December 2026. The date appears on the official Nintendo store listing for the downloadable content, which also confirms that the full game is required.

The release is built around customisation. Nintendo says players will be able to dress Ditto and their Pokémon friends in new accessories, including sunglasses, bow ties and a Sylveon ribbon. The listing also says Part 2 adds more Pokémon and furniture, although it does not provide a complete item list.

What is included

The DLC is part of the three-part Pokémon Pokopia Expansion Pass and cannot be bought separately. Nintendo’s listing identifies it as a digital Nintendo Switch 2 release, with an estimated file size of 3 MB. It also carries the platform’s standard “Users Interact” and “In-Game Purchases” rating descriptors.

The official page does not list a separate price for Part 2, and Nintendo warns that the content is sold separately unless otherwise noted. It also states that the complete version of Pokémon Pokopia is needed to use the DLC. Availability and pricing can vary by region, so the US store details should not be treated as a universal price guide.

Our opinion

This is a tidy, clearly defined second step for the Expansion Pass rather than a vague seasonal tease. The focus on outfits and furniture gives Pokémon Pokopia’s customisation systems a useful headline, while the extra Pokémon should give the update more substance than a purely cosmetic pack. The catch is that Nintendo has not yet explained the full contents or regional pricing, so the 9 December date is the solid news today; the value judgement can wait until the complete item list is available.
