Mineru's Construct amiibo unlocks a Tears of the Kingdom fabric
Nintendo's Mineru's Construct amiibo is on sale from 17 September for $34.99, and it can hand Tears of the Kingdom players a new paraglider fabric.

Nintendo's Mineru's Construct amiibo goes on sale today, 17 September, priced at $34.99 in the United States, and it comes with a genuine in-game reward rather than just a spot on the shelf. In The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, the figure can hand Link a special fabric for his paraglider.
What does the Mineru's Construct amiibo do?
Nintendo's own product listing says the construct gives you random items in Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom. The paraglider fabric is the reward that is specific to Tears of the Kingdom, and the figure's arms are articulated, so you can pose the construct however you like instead of leaving it frozen mid-stand.
Mineru is one of the Sages in Tears of the Kingdom and the elder sister of King Rauru. She fought the Demon King as the Sage of Spirit during Hyrule's founding era, and in the present day she helps Link through this Zonai construct: a stone-grey body with gold trim, a green core and a face that has clearly seen a few millennia of trouble.
Can you buy the Mineru's Construct amiibo?
Getting hold of one on launch day is the tricky part. Nintendo's own store currently lists the Mineru's Construct amiibo as out of stock, so anyone who wants the figure is better off trying a physical retailer than refreshing a product page.
Which other Zelda amiibo is Nintendo releasing?
Nintendo's store also carries a product page for the Young Link amiibo from The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time series, listed with a 2027 release, sitting alongside the remake of Ocarina of Time that the franchise's 40th anniversary Direct revealed in September. Zelda collectors are going to need a bigger shelf.
Our opinion
$34.99 is a serious price for a lump of plastic, even one with moveable arms and a working NFC chip, and the reward it unlocks is a fabric pattern for a paraglider that most players stopped replacing years ago. That is not really the point. The Mineru's Construct figure is the best-looking thing in the current Zelda amiibo line, and it exists because Tears of the Kingdom fans wanted the Sage of Spirit in physical form. The annoyance is the release itself: a collectible that goes out of stock on Nintendo's own store on day one, with no clear second wave, teaches everyone to buy blind and hope. Amiibo were never supposed to be a lottery, and Nintendo is the only company that can call the numbers differently.
